Staff Reviews
All of us on the Book Ends staff enjoy sharing our favorite new books with you each month. There are always new and exciting titles to recommend. In fact, it is our favorite part of the job!
Dede writes: I saw a purple crocus the other day, standing inches tall in the grim winter garden and my breath was caught by hope: hope and faith that the glory of spring and summer would unfold again, even in these trying times.
“Bloom where you’re planted is an old-fashioned bit of sensible advice. Well, thanks to our customers, Book Ends has been able to bloom here on our corner in Winchester. Thank you to all of our customers for stopping by with cheery hellos to buy cards, choose birthday gifts and a quick gift card, and keep up with your book groups. These are indeed challenging economic times, but we are buoyed by the support and good will of folks who see the big picture–if you are loyal to local shops, the local shops will be there, thriving, when you need them. This is community.
